So I'm just going to grab that and move it up like that. So you can create your own image card by just moving this over to the left and aligning it with the texts left.Īnd we just want to be careful that our text is actually readable. Now, the beauty of this is that you can actually create all of the different image blocks. So we've got a bit more space underneath to be a bit careful if you're making it taller than the actual width of the page.Īnd so this is how you would potentially make a poster block. Now we can move this text when it up a little bit further, maybe we want the image to be even taller. There's one grid blob there on the grid that grid blob is not a professional term, but I'm going to use that.Īnd then we can maybe change the text, make it a tiny bit darker, and then we can add another block that maybe this would be our text underneath order from our site to receive the rest valid as ever and The best flowers ever, probably.Īnd then we can centralize that text as well and pull it over the top, make sure that it is again aligned centred, and we can do it like that. So if I can see the grid is there and that is centred. So I'm just making sure that this is centred. And then if this was a poster block, for example, we can just drag and drop it over the top so we can create our own styles like that. Let's make that nice and big and we can centre it. So this can be fresh flowers delivered weekly. So let's add some text and this can be our title. And that's because we can actually create our own image styles within the fluid engine editor. Now, normally you would expect in design to see the option of image blocks and they are gone. You can add a link on the image as well, if you want to I'm not going to do that for now. If I want to change the focus of the image, you can see that I can move this around and it kind of shifts the area that it's focusing on, but I'm to leave that where it is for now. And now I'm going to do is go into design and fill.Īnd that just means that the image will fill the shape that I kind of create for it. The thing that could work, maybe this one, this one's quite nice and just wait for that to populate. That's something we'll look at some flowers, find an image. So let someone look at some stock images. So let's go ahead and make the image sit like that. I'm going to make the poster block first. So let's get stuck in, first of all, we need to create a section and I'm just going to add a blank section for now.Īnd then you'll see that we have is an option up here to add a block. So those of you that have been playing around with fluid engine may realize that we don't have image blocks anymore.īut there's no need to worry because there are lots of different ways that we can recreate those image block styles in the fluid engine itself.
